What these terms cover

These terms apply to the Codoki website at codoki.ai, its information, enquiry forms and introductory AI consultation. Please use the site only if you agree to these terms. If you contact us on behalf of a business, you must have authority to do so. Our services are aimed at business users aged 18 or over.

Commissioned software, prototypes, consultancy, support and other paid services require a separate written agreement covering scope, fees, deliverables, intellectual property, data protection and responsibilities. Sending an enquiry or chatting with the AI does not place an order or create a paid services contract. Product-specific terms, including those for Codoki Lens, are provided with those products.

AI guidance and estimates

Our AI consultation offers a short, automated first perspective based on your description and our working approach. It is not a conversation with either founder. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. A founder must review your needs before we agree on feasibility, scope or a proposal. Do not rely on AI replies as legal, medical, financial, security or other professional advice.

Examples, calculators, suggested savings and portfolio illustrations are indicative, not promises of results, costs or delivery dates. You remain responsible for checking information before acting on it.

Using the site responsibly

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, evade usage limits, disrupt the service or infringe anyone’s rights. Provide accurate contact details and share only information you are entitled to disclose. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, special-category personal data or confidential client material through public forms or the AI chat. Please contact us first to arrange an appropriate channel for sensitive project information.

Content and intellectual property

We or our licensors own the website design, software and content, except where third-party ownership is identified. You may view and share links to public pages, and make reasonable copies for evaluating our services. You may not republish or commercially exploit our material without permission, except where the law allows it. Third-party names, logos and images remain the property of their owners.

You retain your rights in information you submit. You permit us and our service providers to use it as needed to process your enquiry, provide the requested consultation and follow up with you, as explained in our privacy policy. These terms do not transfer ownership of your business ideas to us.

Availability and external links

We aim to keep the site useful and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content. We may update, suspend or restrict features for maintenance, security or misuse. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; their own terms and privacy notices apply. A link does not mean we control or endorse all of their content.

Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.

Subject to those protections, for business use of this free website we exclude liability for lost profits, lost business opportunities and indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on its general information. Liability for paid work is addressed in the relevant services agreement. We do not promise that the website or AI guidance will meet a particular business requirement.

Privacy and cookies

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, and our cookie policy explains browser storage and your choices. Cookie choices do not sign you up for marketing or create a services contract.

Changes, concerns and applicable law

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version and date on this page. Changes apply to future use; they do not amend a separate signed services agreement. If you have a concern, email info@codoki.ai so we can try to resolve it.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For business users, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory protections or your right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
